Raised in a family of upper middle class status, it was through hard work and effort that my parents afforded us good schools, good life and good friends and family. Both sides had large contingents, so I had many cousins and uncles on the Italian and on the Mexican side. Encouraged to be myself, my mother was disappointed that I went to Loyola and didn't follow a career as an attorney, but I had a different calling. I traveled when I could, mostly to Mexico or other parts of California, following the surfer's dream of finding the perfect wave. That was great fun and full of adventures.
Currently, I have three sons. One is in the US Army, Military Police, the middle is working and finding his way as he should in his mid twenties and the youngest is still at home, in high school. Turns out he's the most ambitious of the three. He is a scholar athlete, actor and singer. He has garnered leading roles and sang solo our National Anthem at a Pep Rally. Mrs. A has a State career as well, 25 years but too young to retire, yet. She holds a management position with the Transportation Authority which is a very demanding job.
We share our love of cooking, entertaining, travel, skiing, me camping and surfing. I proposed to her in Paris, France and we loved there, 16 years ago, and hope to return soon. I'm also a musician, play guitar (both classical and steel string acoustic), keyboard, and enough harmonica to annoy. One of my biggest accomplishments was attaining the rank of Nidan in Bujinkan Ninjitsu (Second Degree Black Belt in a combat art, the art of the Ninja). That took 15 years. I still practice, stay in shape and love the great outdoors, camping whenever I can find company to go. (Not Mrs. A's cup of tea).
My very first real estate transaction was a $3.3 million home sale in Crystal Cove.

Raised in North Orange County, La Habra Heights, surrounded by equestrians. My father was a horseman, rode all his life and we did as well (brother and sister). Learned hard work, and to appreciate the men who worked everyday in construction, especially plastering to provide for their families. Every summer the "boss's son" was put on the job and I was fair game for every tough dirty job. I had to do it in order to earn their respect. In the end many were fond of my Dad and came to accept me as one of them.
My very first real estate transaction was a $3.3 million dollar deal. I have the utmost confidence that I can represent my clients to their satisfaction.
Currently, I invest time and money in my local community through events that are both fun and educational. Having been dedicated to making my community the finest place to live I give generously to schools, programs and more recently to Portola High School Sports and Music programs. I'm a donor to the incredible Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, a Friend of the Center donor to Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Recently, donated to the Woodbury Elementary School Spelling bee in support of the great teachers and brought Holiday Caroling programs via the Portola High Singers to my two local villages: Woodbury and Cypress. This is nothing new for me as I was raised to make a difference in my community. Commission money is reinvested in the my home communities, which makes me unique amongst REALTORS.
Continuing on that vein, I'm certified in the Military on The Move Program, that supports efforts to get Veterans and Active Military into homes via substantial rebates at close of escrow. 20% of the rebate comes from my commission alone. Yes, I'm dedicated to making my communities better for my being involved. That's a huge reason to use me for your transactions.
